CAPP Examination

Once the candidate's eligibility to sit for the examination has been confirmed, he is presented with several opportunities.  The exam may be administered in conjunction with any IPI sponsored event, at IPI's headquarters or at the University of Virginia if written notice of intent is received at IPI headquarters at least 30 days prior to the event.  IPI will make every effort to offer the examination to candidates at the most convenient times.  An examination fee (currently $150 for members and $200 for non-members) is charged to each candidate to help offset the costs of establishing the validity and reliability of the test, as well as administering and scoring the examination.
