END OF SHOW TALK

It is very hard to believe that IPI 2008 is over and done with and the staff is already hard at work for next year in Denver, CO.  If the Colorado host committee does half as good a job as the Dallas crew did, it will be a splendid time for all indeed.  For me, it was a very busy conference as your Chairman of the Board.  I gained a personal knowledge of all the hard work that the professional staff and the various committees put into this years program and trade show.  Next time you see or speak with Bonnie, Yvonne, Jean, Lauri, Faith, Lorraine, or Aisha, please be sure to thank them for all their hard work.

This years conference will be hard to top in many ways.  The CAPP sessions were bursting at the seam and the faculty from UVA kept all the students involved and attentive.  The trade show floor was full of vendors and buyers.  It takes both to have a successful show and this years show was a success by any metric.  The finale at Gilley’s was truly a hoot, especially once the band caught on that the crowd wanted lots of ole time rock and roll.  The sessions were very well attended and judging by the Q&A that followed were quite effective.

As always, if you have any ideas or suggestions please don't feel shy.  Send them in to me or to staff.

MORE COMMENTS...
We took advantage of the early registration offer from IPI which allowed us to secure a very advantageous booth location.  We experienced a good volume of traffic through our booth and the quality of leads generated was excellent.

There are several good parking expositions out there but IPI always delivers the more high level contacts and decision makers than any other and the 2008 show in Dallas was no exception.

We were extremely please with the 2008 event and definitely plan to attend the 2009 exhibition in Denver.
