Have you ever thought of writing an article for The Parking Professional? Here’s your chance to plan ahead. Choose a topic from the editorial calendar that suits your experience as a parking professional. Perhaps you’ve found a solution to an old problem or created a program or policy that works better, saves more time or money than anything you’ve ever tried before and you'd like to share it with others in the industry. Is someone in your operation you would like to recognize by writing an article about their achievements? Please share it with us!
Once you’ve made the decision to write an article you may want to read "Writing for The Parking Professional” for information on:
*How to get started;
*Style rules;
*Author checklist;
*Evaluation and acceptance; and
*General writing guidelines.
Before you write the article, feel free to write or call the Editor to discuss your ideas and find out about deadlines. Generally speaking, the deadline for articles is about six (6) weeks ahead of publication. As an author, you will advance the body of knowledge about parking management. And, don’t overlook the sense of personal satisfaction from having your work published in an international magazine!
