FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
FREDERICKSBURG, Virginia (April 8, 2009) - The International Parking Institute (IPI) is implementing an enhancement to membership programs by presenting the IPInsider, a new and improved electronic newsletter.
The IPInsider is an electronically published newsletter which is sent to all IPI members and subscribers every other Tuesday. This bi-weekly publication provides pertinent industry news, updates, trends, opportunities, resources, job postings, and events related to the parking industry.
This change in format and content comes in response to member feedback which will help streamline information that members find important in a parking industry newsletter. New services to be implemented include providing more industry news, employment listings, job board announcements (including RFPs, RFQs and notifications) as well as a more e-mail friendly format.
"The IPInsider has a nice clean format that makes it easy to find interesting items," said Barbara Chance, President and CEO of CHANCE Management Advisors, Inc., "I am also impressed by the mix of different types of articles and news stories. This is a great innovation and I look forward to future issues!"
Parking in the News, which was a feature previously only available in IPI's trade journal, The Parking Professional, will now be a regular feature of the IPInsider. It will include pertinent and current news stories that directly pertain to the parking and transportation industry. Moving it to an electronic format allows for more timely dissemination of stories and full text of the original news story.
The IPInsider is provided as a benefit of membership to IPI, but if you would like a free trial subscription to the IPInsider please visit www.parking.org/insider.
