Call for Presentations: Topics Related to Parking, Architecture, Urban Planning and Sustainability Sought for World's Largest Conference of Parking Professionals

Fredericksburg, VA - "The collaboration between parking, architecture and urban planning is increasingly critical to smart, sustainable environments," says Shawn Conrad, CAE, Executive Director of the International Parking Institute.   

IPI seeks presentations that illustrate case studies, share best practices, illuminate important issues, bring "how-to" knowledge and identify relevant trends that affect parking and transportation. 

October 1 is the deadline for submitting presentation proposals for the International Parking Institute's Conference & Expo to be held in Phoenix, Arizona June 10-13, 2012. 

Past conference topics have included green parking technology,  sustainable design and downtown development, new approaches to urban planning, lighting and security, parking garage architecture and retrofitting suburbia.    

Proposals will be evaluated for overall quality, well-defined focus, timeliness and relevance, practical application of material, presentation skills of the proposed speaker and applicability to an international audience of parking and transportation leaders.

The International Parking Institute is the world's largest association representing parking professionals and the parking industry.  More than 2500 attendees from 28 countries are expected to attend the 2012 IPI Conference & Expo.
